Oasis Partners with Pixel Realm to Support Grants for Early-Stage Gaming Projects
Through a joint grant program, Oasis and Pixel Realm look to support early-stage projects committed to improving privacy-preserving use cases.
Oasis is excited to announce a new development with Pixel Realm to support early-stage gaming projects by leveraging privacy use-cases within the Oasis ecosystem. This partnership aims to support the Web3 gaming industry by providing marketing and developmental support via Pixel Realm’s platform.
Designated to support three promising projects launching natively on Sapphire or utilizing the Oasis privacy layer for confidential computation through a joint incubation program, Oasis and Pixel Realm will provide a total of $50,000 in ROSE. The rewards will be distributed based on standards set by Oasis and Pixel Realm.
Pixel Realm brings a robust support system to the table, offering extensive coverage of the grant and related events through their own and Yoda Labs' — the research and incubator arm from PixelRealm — social media channels. This includes detailed announcements, informative threads, Spaces and leveraging KOLs that Yoda Labs has cultivated within the gaming industry.
Oasis will provide significant support to ensure the success of this collaboration such as marketing, engineering and financial backing for approved projects. As projects have to be built natively on Sapphire, Oasis engineers will be available to assist in the development phase, ensuring that each project meets the compatibility and quality-control standards set by the Oasis ecosystem. Oasis team members will also actively plan and participate in Spaces events, offering their expertise and support to the project.
“We are thrilled to support Pixel Realm's initiative to expand the utility of Sapphire’s confidential compute layer,” said Will Wendt, ecosystem growth manager of Oasis. “Supporting the beginning stages of Web3 games built directly on Sapphire helps expand smart privacy to all corners of Web3 to life while propping up new projects in the space.”
In terms of networking and project sourcing, Pixel Realm and Oasis will utilize its extensive connections with gaming incubators and VCs to identify and source high-quality projects. Their network of gaming studios will also be engaged to explore potential collaborations.
“Our mission is to lead the Web3 gaming industry into a future where data is protected as a default,” said Samuel Plesnik, CEO of PixelRealm. “Partnering with Oasis allows us to support gamers and developers who not only want to enjoy Web3 gaming but want to in a sustainable, scalable and ethical way with Sapphire’s customizable smart privacy.”
Executing the event will start with Pixel Realm conducting thorough interviews and ensuring due diligence is maintained throughout the process. Grant winners will then be featured on the Pixel Realm Launchpad, providing them with a platform to gain significant exposure. Additionally, winners will benefit from full incubation services, financial support, engineering support from Oasis and more in order to bring smart privacy to more and more industries.
